Frequently Asked Questions 

What is the venue capacity?

Evermore Ridge has a maximum capacity of 200 guests. To seat 200 guests, the client must be willing to seat guests inside and under the covered patio. To comfortably seat everyone inside the main reception space, we recommend a maximum of 150 guests. 

How do I schedule a tour?

Venue tours are by appointment only and can be made by texting/calling (304) 663-7388 or by emailing evermoreridgewv@gmail.com

Does Evermore Ridge include a coordinator in their price?

No, we do not include a coordinator in our price. Our price includes what is outlined in our amenities. We do have coordinators/decorators we recommend and they are included on our preferred vendors list. 

Is there a backup plan for rain?

Yes, our indoor reception space can double as a beautiful ceremony location or our covered patio can be used for a smaller wedding.

What is your payment policy/plan?

For weddings, we require a $1,000 non-refundable retainer to reserve your date. The remaining balance is broken down into two more payments with the final payment being due 30 days prior to the scheduled event. All payments are non-refundable.

Can we choose our own vendors?

Yes, we are flexible with vendors. Evermore Ridge does have a preferred vendors list of vendors that we know and trust, but you are more than welcome to use any vendors you would like.

Where do people park?

We have a designated parking area (grass parking) for your guests and designated handicap/vendor parking within close proximity to the venue.  

What is your alcohol policy?

We do not provide or serve alcohol, it is the sole responsibility of the client. We also have a “no shot” policy in place and highly recommend hiring a licensed bartender. Evermore Ridge is not responsible for any alcohol related incidents or damage and any incidents or damage will be the responsibility of the client. 

How many restrooms are there?

There are 2 stalls in the men’s and 2 stalls in the women’s restroom, both are handicap accessible. A full bathroom is located in the bridal suite and a half bathroom is located in the groom's lounge. 

Do you provide tables, chairs and linens?

We provide benches for the ceremony location, and enough chairs/tables (a combination of round/rectangular) to seat 160 people for the reception. Evermore Ridge does not provide linens. 

Who sets up and breaks down for events?

Evermore Ridge is not responsible for set up or break down of events. All tables/chairs will be onsite and the client is responsible for setting up their event exactly as they envision! Break down requires the client to remove all of their décor and remove all trash and place into the dumpster onsite. 

Are there any extra costs or hidden fees?

The only extra cost to the client is Evermore Ridge requires event insurance. Event insurance costs around $120. Details about required event insurance is outlined in our contract and a link to a reputable website is on our preferred vendors list. 

What kitchen amenities are available?

Our prep kitchen includes a large refrigerator and counter place space for your caterer. There is no oven available. 

What discounts do you offer?

As a veteran owned and operated venue, we provide a military discount if the bride or groom is currently serving or is a veteran. We also offer a discount on the venue,if the client also books with Cherry on Top Ice Cream for their event! https://www.facebook.com/CherryOnTopICbook
